Ingredients:
For the pudding:
1 can of condensed milk (395g)
2 cans of milk (use a can of condensed milk as a measure)
3 eggs
1/2 cup of sugar (to caramelize)
For the syrup:
1/2 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of water
Instructions:
Prepare the syrup:
In a pan, add the sugar and water. Bring to a medium heat and cook, without stirring, until the sugar dissolves and the syrup turns golden. Be careful not to burn it!
Pour the syrup into a pudding mold (a mold with a hole in the middle) and including the sides. Set aside.
Prepare the pudding:
In a blender, add the condensed milk, milk and eggs. Blend well until you get a homogeneous mixture.
Assembly:
Pour the pudding mixture into the caramelized mold.
Cooking:
Bake in a bain-marie. To do this, place a baking tin inside a larger baking tray filled with hot water. Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for about 1 hour or until the pudding is firm.
Cooling:
After baking, remove from the oven and let cool completely. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) before unmolding.
Serving:
Carefully unmold and serve chilled!
