Ingredients:
- 200g butter at room temperature
- 200g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 300g wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 100ml milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Prepare the pan: Grease a cake pan with butter and sprinkle with flour.
- Beat the butter and sugar: In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs: Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Mix the dry ingredients: In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and salt. 6. Combine the mixtures: Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Start and end with the flour mixture. Add vanilla extract, if desired.
- Pour into the pan: Transfer the batter to the greased pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for approximately 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Let it rest: After baking, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
Then remove from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
Tips: Garnish with your favorite fruits, it will be a perfect combination.
