Chicken tenders, also known as chicken fingers or chicken strips, are chicken meat prepared from the pectoralis minor muscles of the animal. These pieces of chicken are typically breaded and fried until they are golden brown. They are popular in many different cuisines and are often served with a variety of dipping sauces like barbecue sauce, honey mustard, or ketchup. Chicken tenders can be a main dish or served as an appetizer, and they are a favorite food among children. In addition, they can also be used in salads, wraps, or sandwiches. The term ‘tender’ comes from the fact that this cut of chicken is particularly tender and easy to chew.
