Mac and Cheese

Ingredients: - 8 ounces elbow macaroni - 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese - 3 cups milk - 1/4 cup butter - 2 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour - 2 tablespoons butter - 1/2 cup bread crumbs - 1 pinch paprika Instructions: 1. Cook macaroni according to the package directions. Drain. 2. In a saucepan, melt butter or margarine over medium heat. Stir in enough flour to absorb all of the butter. 3. Slowly pour milk into butter-flour mixture while continuously stirring until mixture is smooth and bubbling. 4. Add about two cups of cheddar cheese to the mixture and stir until cheese is melted and incorporated. 5. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted. Then add cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir until the macaroni is fully coated. 6. Pour the macaroni and cheese into a baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the top. 7. In a skillet, melt the remaining butter and add bread crumbs, stirring until the crumbs are coated in the butter. Sprinkle over the macaroni and cheese. 8. Sprinkle a pinch of paprika over the breadcrumb topping. 9. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the topping is browned. Serve hot and enjoy your homemade mac and cheese!
