Ingredients: – 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts – Salt and black pepper to taste – 2 tablespoons olive oil – 2 cloves garlic, minced – 1 cup heavy cream – 1/2 cup unsalted butter – 1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan cheese – 1 teaspoon dried basil – 500g fettuccine pasta – Fresh parsley for garnish Instructions: 1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. 2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until it’s no longer pink in the middle and the juices run clear, about 6-8 minutes per side depending on thickness. Remove from the skillet and set aside. 3. In the same skillet, add the garlic and cook over medium heat until fragrant, about 1 minute. 4. Stir in the cream and butter. Bring the mixture to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and mix in the Parmesan cheese, basil, and more salt and pepper to taste. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. 5. While the sauce is cooking, bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook the fettuccine according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and return it to the pot. 6. Cut the cooked chicken into thin slices. 7. Pour the Alfredo sauce over the cooked pasta and toss to coat. Add the sliced chicken on top. 8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve the chicken Alfredo hot. Enjoy your homemade Chicken Alfredo!
