Ingredients: – 400g spaghetti – 2 tablespoons olive oil – 1 onion, finely chopped – 2 garlic cloves, crushed – 1 carrot, finely chopped – 1 celery stalk, finely chopped – 500g ground beef – 1 cup red wine – 800g canned chopped tomatoes – 2 tablespoons tomato paste – 1 teaspoon dried oregano – 1 teaspoon dried basil – Salt and pepper to taste – Grated Parmesan cheese for serving Instructions: 1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. 2. While the spaghetti is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. 3. Add the onion, garlic, carrot, and celery to the pan. Cook for about 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are soft. 4. Add the ground beef to the pan. Cook until the beef is browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. 5. Pour in the red wine and let it simmer until the wine has reduced by half. 6. Add the chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, and basil to the pan. Season with salt and pepper. 7. Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 30 minutes, or until it has thickened. 8. Once the sauce is ready, combine it with the cooked spaghetti. Toss until the spaghetti is evenly coated in the sauce. 9. Serve the spaghetti Bolognese with a sprinkling of grated Parmesan cheese on top. Enjoy!
