BBQ Ribs

Ingredients: – 2 racks of baby back ribs (about 4-5 lbs) – 1/4 cup of brown sugar – 1/4 cup of paprika – 1 tablespoon of black pepper – 1 tablespoon of salt – 1 tablespoon of chili powder – 1 tablespoon of garlic powder – 1 tablespoon of onion powder – 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper – 2 cups of barbecue sauce Instructions: 1. Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs by sliding a knife under it and then pulling it off. This will make the ribs more tender. 2. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, salt, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. 3. Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, making sure to cover both sides. Then wrap the ribs in aluminum foil and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight if possible. 4. Preheat your grill to medium heat, around 275-300°F. 5. Place the ribs on the grill (bone side down) and cover. Cook for about 2-3 hours, or until the meat is tender and has pulled back from the ends of the bone. 6. Heat the barbecue sauce in a small saucepan on the grill, or in the microwave. 7. Unwrap the ribs carefully (watch out for steam), and then brush the barbecue sauce all over them. 8. Increase the grill temperature to high and grill the ribs directly on the barbecue for about 5 minutes per side, or until the barbecue sauce is caramelized and bubbly. 9. Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving. 10. Enjoy your BBQ ribs with additional barbecue sauce on the side.
